You know how we like to take little trips (and stay in hotels), right? So, we celebrated Memorial Day with a weekend trip to Osan Air Base , located about 1-hour south of Seoul. We stayed at the Turami Lodge on base and spent Saturday walking around seeing the sights in town. Sunday we visited Everland Resort , South Korea's version of Disneyland. We enjoyed it so much that we bought 1-year passes, spent another night at the lodge- about 30 minutes from Everland- and went back for more fun the next day. It is an AWESOME place! It is open year 'round and even has sledding and snowboarding slopes in the winter. Leave it to the industrious and ingenuitive Koreans. We can't wait to go back. The kids agreed that they can't wait to take Nana and Pobby when they're here.
